The Clyne Riders are a group set up in order to help all riders & builders in Clyne for the greater good of all. If you are currently building or want to build or help build in Clyne please follow the guidelines below;
-
Get in touch - please let us know what you want to do, you can do this by contacting us directly or by posting up on the Clyne Riders board on the mtbpigs forum
Moos trails – email Dan
Clyne trails – email Rob
XC trails & Freeride areas – email Bils
-
Build safe – please be mindful of your safety and the safety of others.
Clyne is an open area and no one has any control over who rides what so with that in mind be careful of blind drops, gaps and and holes that people could ride into by mistake. If in doubt make it rollable.
Think - any serious injury to a rider or any other member of the public caused by bike riding or building has the potential to cause problems for the future of riding in Clyne
-
Be aware of other riders – fun for all
if you want to build on an existing trail then don't do anything which upsets the current flow of the trail. If you want to put in a jump/ berm etc. on an existing trail then build it off the main line so that it doesn't interfere with the existing flow of the trail or get in touch with us so that we can talk to the other users.
-
Take care of the environment -
Don't cut down or damage trees, dig up roots or put nails in live trees
Don't leave holes in dangerous places
Please take your litter home with you
As a Mountain Bike venue Clyne has always been built and ridden by a number of different riders, you only have to look at the quality and variety of trails built in Clyne Valley to see that there are some excellent riding facilities. If we work together we can build bigger and better facilities for everyone.
